An Italian Affair
I've known Corinna for over eight years now, and since knowing her she has had this shoot on her mind and heart. Corinna's grandmother, grandfather and great-grandmother came to the US from Europe over 50 years ago to start a new life. Her grandfather, Giovanni, grows everything from his backyard including tomatoes and squash, basil and rosemary, apple, lemon and fig trees! He even makes his own pasta, pasta sauce, bread, and wine! This has been a crazy summer! I'm sure that's always the case, but after being gone from home with my kiddos 3 weeks, driving approximately 28 hours, just to get home, start school, and catch a plane back to the bay, I'm wiped out! I also started the Whole 30 in an attempt to eat better and shed the many extra lbs I've found since moving to Arizona... well, I guess I found them over the past 5 years...
